Delete your Built For Her account
Built For Her (by JR Strength and Fitness LLC) will delete your account and the data linked to it when you ask. This works whether you joined on our website or through the Built For Her app on Google Play.
Delete it yourself in the app
Sign in, open Profile → Privacy & legal, tap Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Or ask us to delete it
- Email team@builtforher.io from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- We confirm the request came from you, then delete the account within 30 days and email you when it is done.
What is deleted
Your profile and sign-in, training history and workouts, nutrition logs, body measurements, progress photos, coaching messages and reviews (including uploaded videos and documents), community posts, and your records of accepting our legal documents.
What is kept, and for how long
- Billing and transaction records: 7 years, for tax and accounting.
- A record that the account was deleted.
- Error and security logs: a limited period, then deleted automatically.
- Database backups: deleted data is gone from backups within about 7 days.
Stripe and Google keep their own records of payments made through them, under their own privacy policies.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account cancels a website subscription immediately and cancels a Google Play subscription so it does not renew. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account, and deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
